Your appointment starts with a conversation. Tell us about your dental history, anything that’s bothering you, previous experiences you’ve had at the dentist and what you’d like to achieve.
We’ll carefully assess your teeth, gums, bite and overall oral health, with diagnostic records taken where appropriate.

We understand that visiting the dentist can make some people feel anxious, particularly if it’s been a long time since their last appointment or they’ve had a difficult dental experience in the past. At Acme Dental, there’s no judgement about how long it’s been since your last visit.
Dr Ahalya takes a gentle, reassuring approach and will explain what’s happening throughout your appointment. If you’re feeling nervous, just let us know. We can take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Healthy gums are an essential part of a healthy smile. Our hygiene appointments maintain the health of your teeth and gums while identifying and managing early signs of gum disease.
When a tooth needs a filling, our goal is to restore its strength, function and natural appearance while making your experience as comfortable as possible, using modern tooth-coloured materials carefully selected to blend with your smile.
A sudden toothache, broken tooth or dental injury can be stressful. Your appointment focuses on identifying the cause of the problem, assessing the area of concern and determining the appropriate next steps.
If you’ve injured a tooth as the result of an accident, ACC may cover part of the cost of eligible dental treatment.
We can assess your dental injury, assist with the ACC process and discuss your treatment options with you. A surcharge may apply depending on the treatment required.

Your comprehensive new patient appointment gives us time to understand your dental history and concerns and thoroughly assess your oral health. We’ll explain our findings and discuss any recommended treatment with you.

Not necessarily. If you have a specific urgent concern such as toothache, swelling or a broken tooth, you can book an Emergency Consultation for $134.
Absolutely. There’s no judgement at Acme Dental. We’ll simply start with where you are today, understand your concerns and help you work out the appropriate next steps.
